North Arrow Minerals Inc. extended the potential strike length of its primary target area in southern Botswana to one kilometer, advancing exploration across a greenstone belt that mirrors major gold-producing geology nearby.
Surface sampling at the Kraaipan Gold Project yielded high-grade bedrock and float values, including up to 27.8 grams per metric ton of gold at Target AF and 13.5 grams per ton at Target A, the Vancouver-based explorer said in a statement. Anomalous bedrock results gathered roughly 150 meters south of a previous drill hole helped expand the prospective trend at Target AE.
The Kraaipan property covers a 60-kilometer extension of the Kraaipan Greenstone Belt, a geologically rich system masked by shallow Kalahari sand cover. The structure lies directly north of Harmony Gold Mining Co.’s multi-million-ounce Kalgold mine in South Africa. North Arrow recently completed its third rotation of regional reconnaissance reverse-circulation drilling, consisting of 44 holes totaling 1,639 meters to test overburden and bedrock along prospective trends.
“The value of systematic surface work combined with RC drill testing is allowing us to rapidly identify prospective zones of anomalous gold mineralization at Kraaipan, analogous to the style and tenor of mineralization being actively mined at the multi-million-ounce Kalgold mine,” Chief Executive Officer Eira Thomas said in the statement. “Each phase of exploration work at Kraaipan in 2026 has steadily increased our knowledge, allowing us to rank targets across a 60 km long gold belt that has seen very little modern exploration.”
North Arrow holds an option to earn up to an 80% interest in the project from Rockman Resources. The company expects assay results for its latest regional drilling rotation in the third quarter of 2026 as it prepares for follow-up drilling at Target AE.
